We’ve had a wonderful time coming together to support The Care Workers’ Charity, with plenty of orange, homemade cakes and some very special help from our four-legged supervisor, Rosa!
Supporting those who work in care is incredibly important to us at Honeysuckle Home Care. Our carers give so much of themselves every day to support others, so we were delighted to get involved, raise awareness and help raise money for a charity dedicated to being there for care workers when they need support.
Turning Orange for a Great Cause
As part of our fundraising, members of the Honeysuckle team dressed in orange to show their support for The Care Workers’ Charity, and everyone looked fantastic! 🧡
It was a simple but lovely way for our team to come together and show our appreciation for the thousands of people working across the care sector.
At Honeysuckle Home Care, we’re incredibly proud of our wonderful carers and the compassion and dedication they bring to their roles every day. Supporting a charity that gives back to people working in care therefore felt particularly close to our hearts.
Cakes for a Cause 🍰
Of course, no fundraising week would be complete without cake!
Our wonderful carers got busy baking and donating an amazing selection of homemade cakes, sweet treats and goodies for our cake sale, with the money raised going towards The Care Workers’ Charity.
We were so grateful to everyone who baked, donated, volunteered, bought a treat or helped us spread the word. Every contribution helped make the day such a success.
A Lovely Day in Royal Wootton Bassett
We also took our fundraising into the heart of the local community, joining the Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council market.
Charlotte and Lisa were there to welcome visitors, with Honeysuckle’s very own Rosa taking her role as chief supervisor extremely seriously! 🐾
It was lovely to see so many people stop by to say hello, get involved and show their support. Days like these are a wonderful reminder of the community spirit we’re lucky to have here in Royal Wootton Bassett.
Being part of our local community means a great deal to us. Alongside providing care and support at home, we love having opportunities to get out and about, meet local people and support causes that make a difference.
Thank You for Supporting Us 🧡
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our fundraising such a success, from our carers who baked and volunteered to every person who visited us, bought a cake, donated or shared our fundraiser.
Most importantly, thank you for helping us support a charity that does such important work for people across the care sector.
Our fundraising page is still available for anyone who would like to support The Care Workers’ Charity. Every donation, no matter the size, helps support care workers when they need it most.
